Jazz at Cliveden!

Looking for the perfect way to wind-down mid-week this summer? Join Sol Unlimited Jazz & Arts at Cliveden as they debut their Summer Music Series on Wednesday, June 19th (Juneteenth), from 6:00-8:00pm on the grounds of Cliveden.

Sol Unlimited Jazz & Arts was founded by singer/songwriter/producer Selena Sol Brown as a way to engage families of urban Philadelphia communities to enrich appreciation for history through art, music, and more.”

“It’s all about reaching families, teaching history, class and style — and when there’s nothing else….it’s a show of pride…my efforts to bring this vision to fruition lie within the ability for people to see that it’s time to get back to life and back to reality!”

The series will feature Miss Brown along with her multi-generational, multi-cultural Sol Unlimited Orchestra directed by William Douglas and hosted by Jerry Wells of Radio One. The line-up will also feature a variety of Jazz, Soul and R&B recording acts including Alfie Pollitt Trio, Rick Tucker Trio, Mozaic Flow, Laurin Talese, Walt Keys & Dave Renz, Brett Jolly, ISH, Freedom Imani and Sarah Kane.

Sol Unlimited also includes a variety of craft vendors and art exhibits to enrich the experience. The series will continue on Wednesday evenings, 6:00-8:00pm, on July 10th & 31st, and August 14th & 28th – so mark your calendars for this great summer Jazz & Arts series in Freedom’s Backyard!
