Independence Day in Historic Germantown!

In honor of the 236th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we invite you to join us next Wednesday from 11AM-4PM for our spectacular July 4th celebration! Enjoy food, tours, live music and other performances within a picturesque and inviting historical setting. Events will include:

John Trumbull’s 1818 depiction of Thomas Jefferson et al. presenting the first draft of the Declaration of Independence in what is now known as Independence Hall.

-annual bell ringing at Concord School House

-tours of sites such as Hood Cemetery, Cliveden, Concord, and Johnson House

-hot dogs and homemade ice cream

Life, Liberty, & the Pursuit of Happiness? exhibition at Cliveden

-special visits from Oney Judge and Benjamin Franklin!
