Holiday Events this Weekend in Historic Germantown

Looking for something to do this weekend to help ring in the holiday season? Then look no further than the sites of Historic Germantown! The celebration commences on Friday December 2nd with a Silent Auction & Raffle benefiting the Germantown Mennonite Historic Trust. Held at the Germantown Mennonite Church at 21 W. Washington Lane, the event includes fabulous Christmas desserts, gourmet seasonal beverages and a chance to bid on over 40 items and services. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. On Saturday December 3rd from 2 – 4 PM visit Stenton, located at 4601 North 18th Street, for their annual Holiday Tea where you can enjoy light refreshments and make a holiday craft.  To reserve your space call 215.329.7312. Keep the holiday spirit going at 6 PM with the Germantown Mennonite Historic Trust as they host a Carol Sing in the 18th century meetinghouse at 6133 Germantown Avenue. Both of these programs are free and open to the public.

    This just in… there are now over 100 items to bid on at the GMHT auction, including Lancaster and Ocean City getaways, hand crafted items, local restaurant gift certificates, antiques, and more! We hope you will be able to join us!
